Bodenmais
- Health and Winter Resort, Germany
Situated at the foot of the Arber mountain (600-1456 m), Bodenmais is the most frequented
climatic health resort in the Bavarian Forest. It is famous for its beautiful landscape,
the curative powers of its climate, its excellent, yet reasonably priced cuisine, as well
as its many and varied leisure facilities.
Recognized by the State as a Climatic Resort, Bodenmais lies in the middle of the Bavarian
Forest - the largest continuous German forest range - at the foot of its highest mountain,

Bodenmais is surrounded by marvellous forests (in part nature reserves), which reach down
as far as the village. Its attractive position, far from every-day noise, as well as the

position, Bodenmais offers refreshing and long-lasting relaxation all year round.
